SERRS Travel Reimbursement |
|

GRU Members,
Please read this e-mail provided by John Meyers explaining the amendments made to the Travel Reimbursement fee structure that will take affect this spring season:
The SERRS Board agreed to alter the mileage component of the SERRS Travel Reimbursement structure for 2012. The change is designed to address the biggest complaint we have received over the last couple of years – teams see the same refs week-in, week-out. The main cause of this is the gas expense related to travel in excess of 100 miles. To address this, we agreed to the following structure:
100 miles or more one way: $20 150 miles or more on way: $40 200 miles or more one way: $60
A ref traveling 200 miles or more one way will receive $60 from SERRS as well. This is designed to offset hotel costs. This reimbursement must be paid in addition to the match fee, which will not change. Also of not, the tournament fees will not change, and the mileage component to the tournament rate stays the same - $20 for mileage in excess of 150 miles.
